Both institutions committed to collaborating and implementing innovative projects to improve the care for older people with dependency in care homes across Chile.

Aiming to advance research and development to benefit older people and their carers the Millenium Institute for Care Research MICARE and Las Rosas Foundation signed a collaboration agreement on the 19th of July.

The partnership was launched at a ceremony held at Las Rosas Foundation headquarters which was attended by Gladys González, advisor to the Older People National Service (SENAMA), Max Donoso, director of Care Homes, Gregorio Airola, director of Human Capital, Pamela Crocco, director of Administration and Finances, and Daniela Tapia, subdirector of Care Administration at the Foundation.

“By joining together our capacities, we are preparing ourselves to achieve important advances in the care of older people. Edgardo Fuenzalida, General Manager of Las Rosas Foundation, said the agreement will benefit “the continuing improvement of care administration and our service users, but also the carers. Strengthening this well known pairing between caregivers and caretakers is a fundamental challenge to fulfill the mission that gives sense to our beloving foundation”.
