Description

The project analyzes the low coverage rates of subsidies aimed at supporting women in formal employment in Chile, such as the Youth Employment Subsidy (SEJ, in Spanish) and the Women’s Work Bonus (BTM, in Spanish).

The aim of the project is to understand the characteristics of women who meet the eligibility criteria for these subsidies, identify access barriers from both the beneficiaries’ and companies’ perspectives, and propose improvements to the subsidy design based on the findings.
